Aadujeevitham Breaks 7-Year-Old Record In Kerala. Check Details!

Aadujeevitham – The Goat Life, starring Prithviraj Sukumaran has emerged as one of the biggest blockbusters from the Malayalam industry. Blessy who directed the movie has also co-produced it. This survival flick was released on 28 March 2024 and has collected more than Rs 150 cr at the world box office within 25 days.

Aadujeevitham Breaks A Seven Year Old Record:

Salaar fame Prithviraj took to his Instagram handle to share the 150 Cr poster. He wrote “#TheGoatLife is conquering new heights! Making waves across the world. Grateful for your unwavering love and support!”

Prithviraj played Najeeb, a migrant worker trapped in servitude as a goat herder on an isolated farm in Saudi Arabia. The movie which is based on true events is receiving much appreciation from the audience across the globe. 

Now, as per the latest news, the film has set a new record in collections. The film has surpassed the seven-year-old record of Rs 72 cr set by Baahubali 2 at Kerala Box Office. This made the movie stand in 3rd position, after the 2018 film in first and Pulimurugan at second position. With this, Aadujeevitham emerged as an all-time number 3 top-grossing film in Kerala.

Apart from Prithviraj, the cast also includes Amala Paul, Jimmy Jean-Louis, Shobha Mohan, KR Gokul, and others. The movie is based on Benyamin’s Novel published in 2008. The director Blessy started the film journey in 2009. Due to financial challenges, the filming has been delayed.  The shooting took place in 6 phases from March 2018 to July 2022. AR Rahman composed the background music and songs.
