Vashu Bhagnani About Lean Phase Of Akshay Kumar, ‘No Better Example Than Shah Rukh Khan’.

Before the Blockbuster success of Pathaan, Shah Rukh Khan didn’t get a hit at the box office for many years and its a known fact. The Superstar has gone through a rough phase. Last year, the actor delivered three back to back hits with Pathaan, Jawan and Dunki too which made a mark at Box Office.

Vashu Bhagnani About Akshay Kumar:

Bade Miyan Chote Miyan starring Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff is set to hit screens soon. One of the producers, Bhagnani gave an interview to Bollywood Hungama, where he was asked about the recent failures of the lead actors Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff.

Vashu said that the actor’s lean phase doesn’t affect the film. He said “It all depends from film to film. And they are both(Akshay and Tiger) brilliant actors. Koi fark hi nahin padta (It doesn’t make any difference). And Shah Rukh Khan se bada koi example nahin hai. Bechare ki 5-7 saalon se ek bhi picture nahin chali thi. (There’s no bigger example than Shah Rukh Khan. Poo thing, he didn’t have success for 5-7 years.) And look how he bounced back in 2023. All his three films – Pathaan, Jawan and Dunki – were super-duper hits.”

Jackky Bhagnani’s father has further stated that the actors shouldn’t be blamed for the failure of a movie. “It’s not the fault of the actors. It’s the timing, how the film has shaped up and whether the film has acceptance – these factors matter more”- Vashu said.

Producer About Akshay Kumar’s Mission Raniganj Failure:

Talking about his previous movie with Akshay Kumar- Mission Raniganj, he said “Two weeks after the film’s release, the Uttarakhand tunnel collapse took place. If the film had been released during that time, it would have had more footfalls. Nevertheless, the film turned out to be great. The director did a fine job. Akshay Kumar ne kya kaam kiya hai. Kya sardarji bana hai (What a job by Akshay in that. What a sardarji)”.

Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff didn’t have a decent success in recent times. The two are coming together for Ali Abbas Zafar’s directorial Bade Miyan Chote Miyan.
