The most awaited film Roohi trailer of Janhvi Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao is
released on Tuesday on the digital platform. The film’s title was changed from
Roohi Afza to Roohi Afzana but finally, the title is set Roohi and the release
date is also finalized. Roohi is a Hindi horror comedy film and Varun Sharma
is also part of the film. The film is based on the story of a witch who
abducts brides from their honeymoon.
The trailer of Roohi starts with a dramatic horror sound and the witch look of
Janhvi Kapoor. The trailer cliches the perfect details of a witch with a
360-degree head rotation to the backward feet. The character of Janhvi Kapoor
makes you curious. Rajkummar Rao is a stellar performer with his comedic
timing in a trailer and he is perfect for his role. Varun Sharman’s humour in
the trailer adds the extra humaneness to the trailer. However, the dramatic
music, Horror look of Jahnvi Kapoor and the acting of co-stars are on point
and making this trailer is a perfect horror film. Roohi will hit cinemas on 11
March 2020.
Roohi is directed by Hardik Mehta and produced by Maddocks films. The producer
said in an interview “While Stree was a genre-bending tale that gave audiences
something never seen before, Roohi takes this vision a step further by
offering the same brand of spine chilling scares and quirky comedy”. As per
the reports, the Roohi film will be released on around 1500 screens.
