Naga Chaitanya opened up about his first meeting with Sobhita Dhulipala, their love story and more!

Tollywood actors Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala will be getting married on December 4th in Annapurna Studios in Hyderabad. Recently, Chaitanya in a chat with Zoom opened up about his relationship and first meeting with Sobhita. 

Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala have always kept their relationship private. They got engaged in August. Now, Chaitanya spills the beans on their love story ahead of their wedding. While fans can’t wait to see this beautiful journey unfold.

Naga Chaitanya opens up about first meet with Sobhita

Chaitanya said that he first met Sobhita in Mumbai at a work event. He revealed “I was in Mumbai for the launch of my OTT show, during that time, she did have a show with the same platform as well. We first interacted at the event hosted by the OTT platform.”

Chaitanya about Sobhita’s family

He also said “It’s been lovely getting to know Sobhita and her family the past few months, watching the families interact has been a joy. I am really looking forward to and excited for the wedding day, through all the rituals and watching the families come together.”

Like every Telugu household, Sobhita’s family too is very cultured and affectionate. I am treated like a son. There has been a lot of comfort and many things in common from the get-go. Sobhita is a family girl, and we have all celebrated a couple of festivals together as well”, Chay added.

Naga Chaitanya talks about Wedding

The Majili actor said “The wedding is happening in Annapurna Studios in Hyderabad, its a very special and sentimental venue for the family, which makes it even more important that all the arrangements flow well and are memorable for everyone. All in all, there is a lot of excitement and healthy nervousness in me. The wedding is going to be elaborate and lavish in terms of the rituals that we are going to follow. Sobhita’s family has taken a keen interest in this, and I’m totally looking forward to the experience. It’s a very intimate guest list with only immediate family and friends.”

Tollywood Actor Naga Chaitanya was previously married to Samantha Ruth Prabhu and got divorced in Oct 2021.

Samantha’s comments on Divorce

Recently, in an interview Samantha spoke about divorce and said “When a woman goes through a divorce, there is a lot of shame and stigma attached to that. I get a lot of comments saying, ‘second hand, used, wasted life. You are pushed into a corner where you are supposed to feel like a failure.” On the other hand, Chaitanya had never publicly spoken about his divorce and preferred to keep it private.
