Ekta Kapoor has announced her new reality show and has chosen the Bollywood
Queen to host the show. Kangana Ranaut will be making her Digital debut with
this reality show which has been titled “Lock Upp”. Ekta Kapoor calls the show
‘The Biggest And Most Fearless Reality Show’. The show will be premiered on
ALT Balaji and MX Player only. The launch event of the show was held in
Mumbai. Producer Ekta Kapoor, Mx player head Karan Bedi and others were
present at the event.
Kangana Ranaut has answered the questions asked by the journalists. One of the
reporters has asked Kangana for her take on an incident that recently occurred
where an influencer shamed Deepika Padukone for her outfit. Answering to this
question, Kangana said “Look, I am here to defend those who can’t defend
themselves. Alright? She can defend herself. She has the privilege, the
platform and I can’t promote her film here. Sit down”.
However, the reporter said that her intention was not to promote any film.
Kangana continued to say “Of course, you named the film. You are also naming a
film which is coming. Obviously, you are being planted by the PRs of the said
film. Arre yaar, hum itne bhi toh naadaan nahi hai na (I am not so naive). Do
it outside, I will engage with you for 45 minutes”.
Ekta Kapoor shared a video on her Instagram handle featuring Kangana Ranaut as
the show host. Ekta wrote the caption as “And KANGANA RANAUT @kanganaranaut
makes her digital debut with #lockupp only on @altbalaji @mxplayer”.
