Imran Khan has been away from movies for quite some time. The Actor who made his Debut with ‘Jaane Tu… Ya Jaane Na’ in 2008 has last appeared in Katti Batti in the year 2015. However, the actor stays connected with fans through his Instagram posts. Lately, it is reported that the actor is collaborating with his maternal uncle Aamir Khan for a movie. The movie is set to be directed by popular Stand-Up Comedian Vir Das. It will be a comedy film titled as “Happy Patel”.
Imran Khan to make comeback In Aamir Khan’s production
Imran has earlier revealed that he planned a comeback with a spy thriller with Disney+ Hotstar but got shelved. Now, as per a latest report in Peeping Moon, “Imran has finally locked in his comeback project, nearly eight months after he hinted at the possibility of returning to movies last year.” It is said that the film will be made in a unique fresh world compared to Imran’s previous projects. The report also mentioned that the shooting has already started in Goa. The project is produced by Aamir Khan. Imran was introduced to the silver screen by Aamir through his film Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak where Imran played a Young Raj character.
Vir Das would be making his Directorial debut with this film. We all know that Vir Das acted alongside Imran in Delly Belly. Earlier, Imran planned a Spy web series with Abbas Tyrewala for Disney+ Hotstar. The project was shelved due to a merger between Reliance Industries and The Walt Disney Company.
