Baiju Bawra is the film of the famous director, music composer and producer
Sanjay Leela Bhansali. Last year he had created the sensation with his two big
announcements. First, he ropes Alia Bhatt for Gangubai Kathiawadi and another
big news was Baiju Bawra. There was confusion about the lead actors later
sources revealed, Ranbir Kapoor is locked for the lead role in Baiju Bawra.
According to sources, Sanjay Leela Bhansali has signed his favourite actresses
Alia Bhatt and Deepika Padukone to romance with Ranbir Kapoor in Baiju Bawra.
This film has two heroes and two heroines. The story consists of four
characters. Sanjay narrated the story to both actresses and they are impressed
with the storyline. So both give their nod to the film. In the movie, Alia
Bhatt will be romancing Ranbir Kapoor, and Deepika will pair with another
actor. Alia will portray the role of Meena Kumari from the original film.
Deepika Padukone will essay the role of dacoit Roopmati which was played by
Kuldip Kaur in the 1952 period drama. This is the first film of Deepika and
Alia together. Ranbir will play the role of Tansen.
On the other hand, Ranbir Kapoor is currently busy in the Shamshera shooting
and his next movie is Brahmastra. Deepika is working on her upcoming untiled
Shakun Batra’s project in Goa and her next film is 83. Alia Bhatt featured in
Gangubai Kathiawadi, Brahmastra and RRR.
