The Bollywood Queen and versatile actress who made her unique place in the industry by dominating actress oriented movies compare to other actresses, Deepika Padukone achieved another milestone of her life by receiving 26th Annual Crystal Award for spreading mental health awareness.
After passing through a crucial stage of Depression, the actress started “The Live Love Laugh Foundation” in 2015, in which she raised voice for the awareness of mental disorders like stress, anxiety, depression through different programs like lecture series, practical training sessions and articles.
On receiving the award, the actress expresses her gratitude in one of the media interviews by telling “I am humbled and deeply honoured to be chosen for this year’s Crystal Award and dedicate the award to the millions around the world who experience stress, anxiety and depression, and other forms of mental illness.”

On the professional front, the actress is busy with her upcoming movie ‘Chhapaak’ directed by Meghna Gulzar, which is slated to release on 10th January 2020, Recently the trailer got released and got appreciations all around.
On the other hand, the actress will be seen in ’83’ which is based on veteran Cricketer Kapil Dev, played by Ranveer Singh and Deepika will be playing the role of his wife Romi Dev. The film is directed by Kabir Khan and the movie is expected to be in theaters on April 10th, 2020.
