The wait is finally over! Adipurush Trailer is out. We recall how Om Raut and the team were attacked on social media following the teaser. There was a lot of opposition, ranging from claims that Lord Hanuman appeared more Mughal than Hindu to accusations that the endeavor was comical.
The film's creators decided to promote it as a result. To improve the film's quality, the entire team sat down to work on the VFX. It appears that they put in a lot of effort. The trailer, according to netizens, is a hundred times better than the teaser. Prabhas and Sunny Singh received more attention in the trailer. Ma Sita is played by actress Kriti Sanon.
However, Adipurush is all over the social media since the official trailer is released. While some praised Prabhas and Saif for how they depict Lord Rama and Raavan, respectively, others voiced dismay with the movie's visual effects, which made it appear to be an animated film.
Most Netizens Were in Awe of The Improved VFX, Says It's "Better Than Teaser"
Many showered love on the trailer. The reaction to the Adipurush trailer has been overwhelmingly positive. One user wrote, “Fantastic trailer. Appreciate the efforts taken by the team to work on the VFX.”
Another wrote, Woohoo! this is very unexpected man! Faadu Trailer. Can't wait for June 16. Theatres will turn into stadiums with Jai Sri Ram slogans! While another mentioned, “Much Much Much Better Than Teaser! Prabhas Come Back Feels.”
Another fan shared, “GOOSEBUMPS STUFF, whatta a trailer mahn, was very disappointed with the teaser earlier, but now the clothings, the visuals, dialogues, music, everything looks perfect. Will smash every existing box office record. While another wrote, “Adipurush trailer looks promising. Eagerly waiting for the movie.Jai Shri Ram!!”
Some Negative Reactions on Adipurush
Taking to the social media platform, a user wrote, "I was wrong about #Adipurush, we can't do justice to stories like #Ramayana & #Mahabharata unless we have a budget of 1000+ crores. #Adipurush looks promising but I am #disappointed with the VFX & CGI. Instead of Prabhas's hefty fees, makers could have invested that money in VFX."
Comparing Om Raut with 'RRR' director SS Rajamouli, a third commented, "#disappointed with #Adipurush trailer. Only a director like Rajamouli can do justice and portray Shri Ram as the way Hindus would want. All others want to mint money on the name of Shri Ram. Plus I don’t want to watch."
Another wrote about the negatives in the trailer, “Prabhas voice & looks, Still better VFX req, Overall rating-2.75/5”
Nevertheless, despite this kind of backlash, #Adipurush by Prabhas has amassed 11 million views in just 8 hours(hindi only). It has reportedly overtaken other Hindi trailers as the day's most popular and watched. In Bollywood circle, there is a great deal of interest in Saif Ali Khan's persona. He is playing the role of Raavan.
Adipurush, a mythological Hindu film directed by Om Raut, is based on the legendary "Ramayana." It has been backed by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Rajesh Mohanan, and Om Raut.
