Shilpa Shetty Offers Prayers To Her Kuldevi; Introduces Her Mangalorean Culture To Her Children. See Video!

Bollywood actresses Shilpa Shetty and Shamita Shetty visited their native place Mangaluru. The Shetty sisters offered prayers to their Kuldevi Sri Durga Parameshwari. Shilpa introduced her Mangalorean culture to her children and said she is proud of it.

On Sunday, Shilpa Shetty posted a video on her Instagram handle showing glimpses of her visit to Kateel Shri Durgaparameshwari Temple in Mangalore, Karnataka. She visited her home town with her sister Shamita Shetty and her Kids.

In the shared video, we can see glimpses from the temple and its premises while they are on their way to Darshan. Both actresses are looking beautiful in simple outfits. Shilpa is seen in a multi-colour saree while Shamita is wearing a pink kurta. They are listening to the divine music being played on Nadaswaram(wind instrument) and other traditional instruments. The two have even witnessed a play at the end of their visit which tells divine stories through art.

Shilpa captioned her post "Back to my native roots Mangalore. Paying my obeisance to our Kuldevi #Kateeldurgaparmeshwari and Introducing my Mangalorean heritage and culture to my children, that I am so proud of. 😇🧿♥️🙏'' and Shamita wrote, "Verified Love connecting with my roots ❤️ Visited our Kuldevi temple Kateel Durga Parmeshwari ❤️ caught a lil bit of the Aata ( play) at the end which depicts some divine stories ❤️ how rich we are in culture🌺".

Fans of both actresses praised and appreciated them for valuing the traditions and being connected to their roots.

Talking about their works, Shilpa Shetty last appeared in Nikamma, a remake of the super hit Telugu film 'Middle Class Abbayi'. She will be appearing in the Kannada film KD and Sukhee in Hindi. Shilpa is also set to make her OTT debut with Indian Police Force directed by Rohit Shetty.

On the other hand, Shamita Shetty was last seen in the movie 'The Tenant'. Earlier, she appeared in a music video Tere Vich Rab Disda and also in Bigg Boss 15.
