On Friday, Keerthy Suresh has announced her next film titled Maamannan. This Tamil film is directed by Mari Selvaraj, earlier did Karnan with Dhanush. The movie has the popular star actor Fahadh Faasil. Fahadh was recently seen in Pushpa: The Rise which has become one of the biggest grosser for the year 2021. Though he has made his debut in Tollywood with Allu Arjun’s Pushpa as Villain, the actor is well-known to the South audience through his films in Malayalam. Fahadh has done a couple of films in Tamil too.
Taking to her social media handle, Keerthy Suresh has announced her new project. She wrote, “I am super grateful to work with such a brilliant team, starting from the revolutionary @mariselvaraj84 sir, Namma @udhay_stalin sir, Nammude #FahadhFaasil , the one & only #VaigaiPuyal #Vadivelu sir, blessed to be working with the legendary #IsaiPuyal @arrahman sir once again 🙏🏻”.

The movie has producer-actor Udhayanidhi Stalin and famous star comedian Vadivelu in the major roles. The music is scored by AR Rehman. Udhayanidhi Stalin is also the producer of this film. Talking about the movie plot, a source says, “Unlike Mari Selvaraj’s previous two films, this project will be a more commercial film. Politics will also be one of its themes. The team will be shooting the film in Chennai, Yercaud and Salem”.
Keerthy Suresh is currently shooting for her other projects and she also has her big film Sarkaru Vaari Paata starring Mahesh Babu as the lead actor. On the other side, the director Mari Selvaraj has earlier announced a project with Dhruv Vikram.
