The stunning Rakul Preet Singh has bagged another Bollywood project. She
signed the producer Ronnie Screvwala’s upcoming project under the RSVP banner.
The actress is currently working in multiple projects in Telugu and Hindi too.
As per the latest reports, Rakul Preet Singh will play condom tester in the
film. But the south diva Rakul Preet Singh wasn’t the first choice of makers
for this role for the film.
The makers of this untitled film first approached the Coolie no.1 actress Sara
Ali Khan. She is currently having a project with RSVP alongside Vicky Kaushal
titled Ashwatthama. After offering the project the actress politely refused to
take that and said she will not play the role of Sexecutive. The same banner
is having a discussion with Sara for another film. Then, the makers decided to
go with Ananya Panday. But the team of the actress felt that this is a very
bold role for her. So she decided to not sign the project.
It is not wrong to say that someone’s loss is someone’s gain. In the same
manner, this project landed in the lap of Rakul Preet Singh. She will be seen
starring in this untitled project. According to the sources, “this film is a
quirky social drama that also aims at destigmatizing the use of condoms.
Indians are still shy while buying condoms or even uttering the word”. They
also added, “The film will be a bold but humorous take on the same, much like
Dream Girl”.
