A few days ago Karthik Aaryan and Karan Johar were in the headlines due to the exit of the Karthik Aaryan from Dostana 2. According to an official statement from the Dharma production, the unprofessional attitude of Karthik Aaryan is the reason for his exit from the project. They have issued this statement without mentioning the actor's name. However, Karan Johar always faced backlashes from Bollywood fans for casting the star kids in his projects. Even he faced many allegations of encouraging nepotism from the other actors and common people too.
According to the latest update, the film producer Karan Johar is looking to replace the dashing Karthik Aaryan with an outsider for his upcoming venture Dostana 2. As Karthik Aaryan dropped from the project, there are several speculations about who is going to lead the project. So to avoid the debate on nepotism, Karan Johar decided to cast an outsider for the film. But the actor is yet to be finalized for the role.
Karan Johar’s Dostana 2 has Jahnvi Kapoor as the leading lady. While Debutant Laksh Lalwani in a supporting role. The film is directed by Collin D'Cunha and produced by Hiroo Yash Johar, Karan Johar and Apoorva Mehta under Dharma Productions. Dostana 2 is the sequel of the 2008 hit film Dostana starring Priyanka Chopra Jonas, John Abraham and Abhishek Bachchan.
