Let’s have a look, How these celebrities showed solidarity in the fight against Corona by lighting the lamps.

Plenty of Proud Citizens across India lit Diyas, flashlights, and candles on Sunday, at the request of PM Narendra Modi to show unity in the fight against the novel Coronavirus. Recently, PM Modi asked everyone to switch off the light of their houses and light lamps, or torches for nine minutes exactly at 9 pm on Sunday to perpetuate the country’s fight against this deadly epidemic called Corona. Let’s have a glimpse of some of the actors, industrialists who participated.

The Prime Minister lit a lamp at his house and wrote 

शुभं करोति कल्याणमारोग्यं धनसंपदा ।
शत्रुबुद्धिविनाशाय दीपज्योतिर्नमोऽस्तुते

Ranveer and Deepika also took a photo with Diya in their hands, as if their eyes were saying that we are hopeful that we will come out of this crisis.

Producer-director Karan Johar also made a video on his terrace in which he was seen lighting a mobile flashlight with his mother and his twin children.

Karthik Aryan, who is presently ruling over the hearts of his fans, also put a smiling picture of himself with lots of colorful lighted Diyas.  It seems that his smile is saying that if we are together then we can achieve anything.

Katrina Kaif also shared some photos with a hopeful smile, lit candles on her terrace.

Industrialist Mukesh Ambani, along with wife Nita Ambani, was seen lighting earthen lamps in a copper plate on the roof of his imposing Mumbai home ‘Antilia’.  Neeta Ambani was wearing a beautiful suit, while Mukesh Ambani wore a Nehru jacket with a kurta.

Ratan Tata was also seen with a lighted diya holding in his hand

South superstar Rajinikanth joined the bandwagon as he and his wife Latha spread positivity by lighting candles. He captioned it, “#StayHomeStaySafe #Solidarity #Unity #IndiaFightsCoronavirus”

Virat Kohli was also seen lighting a lamp with his wife Anushka. He wrote “A prayer in unity does make a difference. Pray for every being and stand together”.
