On one end the country grieves for the death of Sushant Singh Rajput. But on the other hand, the act has revealed the dark side of nepotism and struggles faced by the dreamers for being in this industry. After the heated atmosphere, many stars like Kangana Ranaut, Payal Rohatgi, etc. exposed their aggression on Instagram towards the dirty politics held in the filming world.
To this, even famous voice behind Saathiya song, Sonu Nigam too shared his views for the music industry. He quoted “VLog 33 You might soon hear about Suicides in the Music Industry.” In this video, Sonu is not aggressive instead he is being very thoughtful. Albeit he is thankful for being part of the music world in the early years, yet he is highly disheartened with the disgrace over new singers who want to set their career in the line.
Sonu unveils how new stars are not entertained, how they are maltreated and how their efforts are shattered right in front of their eyes. Quoting the example of the king of love songs, Arijit Singh, Nigam keeps the point of how is Salman Khan liable to stop Arijit from doing his songs? He expresses illness towards the wrong use of his power.
To this, he posts a 7 minutes long video where he is urging music industries to consider Talent above all. Many of the movie directors have to give up their idea of songs and young singers even if they don’t want to, because of power of the higher authorities in music stream. The two music industries have broken dreams of many and Sonu has seen many soulful singers being rejected for no reason. He urges to stop this, before we hear another heart-breaking suicide like Sushant.
