For a long time, there has been rumours making rounds in the industry that
Shraddha Kapoor is going to tie the knot with her childhood friend Rohan
Shrestha. Even recently, Rohan Shrestha spotted with Shraddha Kapoor in Mumbai
at her shooting sets. On the other hand, the rumours spreading like wildfire
on social media and industry and by seeing all these Shakti Kapoor released
his statement on Shraddha Kapoor’s marriage with Rohan Shrestha.
Shakti Kapoor talking about his daughter’s marriage also shared his worries
about the divorce rate. He said to leading news portal Spotboye, “Rohan is a
family friend, I have known his father for many, many years. Rohan visits us
often, but he has not asked for Shraddha’s hand in marriage. And besides,
today children decide these things on their own. If Shraddha tells me that she
has chosen a life partner for herself or even if Siddhant does, I will readily
agree. Why will I refuse? But at this point, they are focused on their
careers. Marriage is an important decision and the way people are breaking up,
it bothers me sometimes”. He added, “One has to be sure before making a
decision like that”.
Shakti Kapoor talked about the dreams of her son and daughter too. He further
added “Many people ask me if I stopped Shraddha from becoming an actress, but
that is not true. I want her to shine and do well – she is such a hard-working
and talented girl. I call her my ‘golden girl’. She has made it on her own in
Bollywood”.
Early this year the father of Rohan Shrestha also talked about the marriage of
his son with Sharddha Kapoor, he said “If they decide to marry each other, I
will happily do everything for them. The word ‘objection’ does not exist in my
dictionary. And let me tell you, I call Rohan ‘My Dream’, I rarely address him
as ‘Rohan”. In an interview with a leading daily.
During a photoshoot in 2019, Shraddha Kapoor collaborated with Rohan Shrestha.
After the shoot, the actress and Rohan got teased by friends and even by
Shraddha’s brother and It has raised the fans eyebrows about their
relationship.
