Actress Payal Rohatgi got arrested by the Ahmedabad police. The actress is
always in the headlines for her bold comments and the controversial statements
she makes through her social media handles. Also, she has been trolled by
social media users for her tweets many times. Now it seems like Payal Rohatgi
landed in big trouble, as an FIR has filed against her at Satellite Police
Station Ahmedabad.
The FIR against Payal Rohatgi has been filed by the doctor Parag Shah. He is a
member of the society in Ahmedabad. In this statement he said, Payal Rohatgi
abused the society’s chairperson on social media and she even used derogatory
language against him on the WhatsApp group of the society. He also added that
she threatened to break the legs of those who argue with her and even fight
for the playing area for the children in society. For these allegations, the
police arrested the actress.
This isn’t the first time Payal Rohatgi is in controversy. In last year,
Twitter suspended her account twice when she used abusive language and
statements over several other matters. She created controversy with the
comments she made over the MP Jaya Bachchan for her Rajya Sabha speech. In
that speech, Jaya Bachcha alleges that a continuous attempt is underway to
defame Bollywood. However, she booked for uttering obscene words under IPC
section 294-b, intentional insult IPC 504 and criminal intimidation IPC 506.
