American Singer Katy Perry landed yesterday in Mumbai for her performance on 16 November at the DY Patil Stadium. British POP Artist Dua Lipa will also share the stage with her. The whole concert will be performed by Katy, Dua, Rock-band Aswekeepsearching, music band The Local Train, music director Amit Trivedi and Ritviz.
Earlier, Katy made her maiden performance in the 2012 IPL opening ceremony at Chennai. This is the first time that Katy will be performing at the music festival in India. In August she announced about the Mumbai concern and expressed her excitement over returning to India and first-ever performance in Mumbai with Indian audiences to whom she called “My Indian KatyCats”.
“I am so happy to be returning to India and excited to headline my first-ever performance in Mumbai. I am looking forward to seeing and singing with all of my Indian KatyCats at the OnePlus Music Festival” she tweeted.
“About the time, I got back to India, the countdown to the OnePlus Music Festival with my girl Dua Lipa is on” she tweeted after having an interview with one of the Indian magazines.
Bollywood is also going to welcome Katy through a grandiose cocktail and dinner party hosted by the leading producer-director Karan Johar where many Bollywood celebrities like Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt, and many more celebrities are expected to attend the evening.
