On 17th December 2021, Tollywood star Allu Arjun’s Pushpa was released in
theatres worldwide. The movie performed excellently at the box office across
the globe. However, the collections of Hindi dubbed version has left everyone
surprised. Even with the 50% occupancy in a few states due to Covid, the movie
manages to earn crores.
Allu Arjun is one of the few actors in Tollywood who got immense popularity
among the Hindi audience. The actor’s films are usually dubbed in Hindi and
released by Goldmines telefilms on their Youtube channel. Also, Pushpa’s Hindi
rights are acquired by Goldmines Telefilms and made huge profits. On the other
side, Amazon prime has OTT rights for Pushpa. Now, as per the latest news,
Goldmines Telefilms are trying to use Allu Arjun’s craze which they witnessed
with Pushpa. Well, you heard it right!. Goldmines have decided to release Allu
Arjun’s super hit movie ‘Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo’ in theatres on the occasion
of Republic Day. Like many other Tollywood movies, ‘Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo’
Hindi rights were bought by Goldmines back in 2020. This could be a huge blow
to Karthik Aaryan and his upcoming movie Shehzada makers. Because it is an
official remake of this blockbuster movie.
Another interesting thing is that the Hindi remake is bankrolled by Allu
Arvind(father of Allu Arjun). Releasing the Hindi dubbed version of Ala
Vaikunthapurramuloo will definitely affect the market of Shehzada. However,
Allu Arvind or other producers of Shehzada didn’t make any statement on this
decision taken by Goldmines.
Trade analyst Taran Adarsh has confirmed the news of Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo’s
release through his Twitter handle.
