The Nightingale Of India has passed away during Covid-19 in the year 2022. She has been the voice of Indian movies for the last 70 years.
Randeep Hooda Remembers Lata Mangeshkar On Her Death Anniversary:
Randeep took to his X platform to pen a heartfelt note remembering Lata Ji. He wrote “Remembering Bharat Ratna, the Legendary #LataMangeshkar ji on her punyatithi. Lata Didi shared a very close relationship with #SwatantryaVeerSavarkar that spanned decades. Her Brother Hridyanath Mangeshkar was fired from All India Radio for singing poetry written by Savarkar; he had knowingly taken that risk. Savarkar ji wrote plays for Lata Didi’s father Pandit Dina Nath Mangeshkar to spread awareness against British Rule, this association gave Hindi and Marathi literature many new words and terms that we still use today.

Lata ji wanted to join Veer Savarkar’s Politics, but Veer Savarkar advised Lata didi to further her singing and discouraged her from politics. She later sang that song to her brother’s composition. According to her, Savarkar sacrificed a lot for the country. “But independent India did not honour him and give him his due,” Saluting the two greats of our nation.”
He wrote this note while retweeting one of her old Tweets where Lata ji can be seen with Veer Savarkar. She wrote “Mere pita saman Veer Savarkar ji ke saath meri ye ek pic.”

Randeep paid his tribute to the Melody Queen when she passed away in 2022 and shared a picture of Lata Mangeshkar with the first Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru and current Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
