Samantha will be seen in Shaakuntalam, directed by Gunasekhar. Dev Mohan is paired alongside Samantha. The movie is based on a popular play 'Shakuntala' by Kalidasa. It is made with a budget of 70 Cr. Also, she will be seen with Vijay Deverakonda in Kushi under the direction of Shiva Nirvana which is planned to release on 1 September 2023.
