After two days of Celebrations at NMACC, Gigi Hadid took to her Instagram
handle to share glimpses from her stay in Mumbai. Gigi was in the capital city
of India for the opening ceremony of Nita Ambani’s Cultural Centre launch.
Gigi donned an Indian saree at the event which aims to showcase Indian art and
culture to the world.
In her latest Instagram post, Gigi shared videos and pictures from her pink
carpet walk displaying Indian Fashion. She shared pictures with Shah Rukh
Khan, and Aishwarya Rai and also captured pictures from the ‘India In Fashion’
Exhibit.
Gigi wrote a long caption to this post “The @nmacc.india Gala was a
celebration of Indian craftsmanship, and its inspiration on fashion
internationally, with the opening of the exhibit “India in Fashion: The Impact
of Indian Dress and Textiles on the Fashionable Imagination,” curated by the
iconic @hamishbowles! It was my honour and joy to showcase this masterpiece
designed by @abujanisandeepkhosla 🙏 this Chikankari sari was made in the
Lucknow region of India, and took a year to make; each woman who crafted it
specializes in a differently stitch 🤩 truly remarkable workmanship .. I’ll
never forget it 💫”.
Earlier, the Hollywood star dropped a photo dump of her Mumbai diaries. She is
seen posing standing in front of the Gateway of India, clicking with Nita
Ambani, walking around the streets of Mumbai and enjoying coconut water. She
wrote “Warmest Thanks to the Ambani family for hosting me in Mumbai for the
Opening Weekend of @nmacc.india! It was an honour to be there to witness your
family’s vision come to life, in a beautiful world-class Cultural Center to
celebrate and cultivate the creatives and heritage of India.
After seeing the opening nights of “The Great Indian Musical” and “India in
Fashion” exhibit, I learned so much & know this venue will nurture future
generations to explore their passions— from dance to design, from music to
art. If you have the chance to visit & see these productions — I HIGHLY

Indian fans are overwhelmed with joy as they see her click with Shah Rukh
Khan. A fan wrote ‘GI and SRK. A moment in Pop Culture! 🔥❤️’. Another fan
wrote ‘We loved you gigi, you looked exceptionally beautiful in this saree, do
visit India again❤️’. Brazilian actress Marina Ruy Barbosa who was also part
of the event wrote ‘thank you for always being so kind and lovely, hope see

Many fans took to the comment section for missing a chance to meet Gigi on her
trip to Mumbai. One of the fans wrote “Am I wrong to hate myself for living in
Mumbai and not being on the streets of churchgate to spot @gigihadid site

The NMACC event was star-studded with other Hollywood actors like Tom Holland,
Zendaya, Penelope Cruz, American artist Jeff Koons, French fashion designer
Christian Louboutin etc.
