Filmmaker-Actor Rishab Shetty’s ‘Kantara’ is the recent blockbuster movie
coming from the Kannada Industry. Lately, the Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and
Hindi dubbed versions of this film are released in theaters and are running
successfully. The Telugu version has earned Rs 5 Cr worldwide on its opening
day which is reportedly greater than the opening day collection of Kannada version.
The lead actress Sapthami Gowda who played the character Leela has written a
special note to the Actor-Director Rishab Shetty. Taking to her Instagram
handle, she wrote “When I was first approached for this project I had no idea
about how this character would look on screen or even the name of the movie.
But, just the excitement of getting to work with the super talented Rishab sir
and his team made me want to be a part of the project with all of my heart
‘#Kantara’ After the first script reading, during my workshop stages is when I
knew that Leela will remain forever special to me and I’m blessed to get the
chance to put life into the character. I’m so thankful to you for giving me
this opportunity and choosing me to play Leela. Hope I’ve filled life to Leela

Ever since its release, word of mouth has spread and many celebs from
Tollywood, Kollywood too have watched this amazing film and shared their
experience on social media. Earlier, Darling Prabhas has watched the movie and
now Anushka Shetty has joined the list. Taking to her Instagram profile, she

Kantara is an action thriller film directed and acted by Rishab Shety. It also
stars Kishore, Achyuth Kumar, Pramod Shetty, and Sapthami Gowda in important
roles. It is produced by Hombale Films who made KGF. It was released on 30
September 2022 in theatres in Kannada and later dubbed into different
languages considering the immense appreciation from audiences all over the
country.
