Alia Bhatt’s most awaited film Gangubai Kathiawadi trailer is out now! The
film has Ajay Devgn playing a cameo role as Karim Lala. It is the directorial
venture of Sanjay Leela Bhansali and is jointly produced by Sanjay Leela
Bhansali and Jayantilal Gada.
The visuals in the trailer are breathtaking and striking as in any movie of
Sanjay Leela Bhansali. The trailer looks promising and the SLB’s larger than
life storytelling requires the lead actor to completely own the character.
This can be seen in every frame of her in the trailer. Her voice modulation
and dialect is just amazing and suits the role. In the movie, Alia Bhatt will
be playing the role of one of the most powerful and respected madame from
Kamathipura in the 1960s. The trailer shows glimpses of Alia’s transformation
from the vulnerable girl who has been forced into the s*x trade and later
becomes a strong woman and her political aspirations for improving the lives
of her people in Kamathipura.
The music is composed by Sanchit Balhara and Ankit Balhara, cinematography by
Sudeep Chatterjee. Vijay Raaz will be seen in an important role. While Ajay
Devgn and Huma Qureshi will be making special appearances. The movie will
release in theatres on 25 February 2022.
