Shakun Batra has finally announced his upcoming film title as “Gehraiyaan”.
Deepika Padukone, Ananya Panday, Siddhant Chaturvedi will be playing the lead
roles in the movie. Earlier, the actors have shared a series of monochrome
pictures of them from the film sets. A few months back, the actors treated the
fans with their fun-filled behind scene pictures. Since then, the fans are
eagerly waiting to see their favourite actors in the movie. Now, the makers
have released the first look teaser of the film and announced the release date
too.
First Look Teaser:
In the released teaser, Deepika and Siddhant are seen kissing each other and a
few glimpses of Ananya and Dhairya’s emotional moments are shown. The soothing
song Gehraiyaan plays in the background. Going by the teaser, it looks like
the story revolves around both the couple’s complex relationship.

Previously, in the shared pictures, we can see Deepika Padukone and Siddhant
Chaturvedi sitting on the beach. In the following pictures, Ananya Pandey
seems sitting with Deepika Padukone and other cast members in a room. Deepika
Padukone penned these pictures “Yes…It has been a bit of a wait. But as the
saying goes…Sometimes, the longer you wait for something, the more you
appreciate it when it finally arrives! Hopefully, the same holds true here. I
took the opportunity to be a part of something that I believe was truly
magical. And with love in my heart and utmost gratitude, I cannot wait to
share our labour of love with all of you…Stay tuned for the announcement
tomorrow!”
On the other hand, Siddhanth Chaturvedi wrote in the post “Beh ke door kanhi
kinare pe miley, Bikharey sipiyon se hum dono…Na usne kuch kaha, Na maine kuch
kaha, Bas baithe rahe, Aankhon mein moti bhare – hum dono..Stay tuned! An
announcement for a film very special film to me is out tomorrow”. Even Ananya
Pandey also expressed her thoughts by sharing pictures.
Shakun Batra helmed this film featuring Deepika Padukone, Siddhanth
Chaturvedi, Ananya Panday and Dhairya Karwa in the lead roles. Gehraiyaan is
produced by Karan Johar under the banner of Dharma Productions. The movie is
scheduled for an OTT release on Amazon Prime on 25th January 2022.
