Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt begin the shooting of their upcoming movie 'Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani'. This is going to be the second project of them together after Gully Boy. While the filmmaker and producer Karan Johar took back to the director's seat for this romantic drama. Makers have announced the film a few weeks ago. However, now the actors and director shared the first video clip of the filming on their respective social media accounts as they begin the first schedule of shoot.
Karan Johar penned the caption sharing the video clip as "The day is finally here & I have so many feelings going on in my head but what emerges at the top is - gratitude! As we begin our Kahani ka first schedule, seeking all your Pyaar & aashirvaad! It’s time to roll! #RockyAurRaniKiPremKahani #RRKPK". In the video, we see the actress Alia Bhatt wearing the traditional outfit while Ranveer Singh is doing some dance moves. On the other hand, the crew members are doing their works. While there is buzz that Ibrahim Ali Khan is going to assist Karan Johar.
Ranveer Singh also took to his Instagram account to drop the video and captioned the post as "Shuru ho gayi hai yeh anokhi kahani of Rocky & Rani. Toh dijiye humein apna aashirvaad aur pyaar, aur chaliye iss safar mein hamaare saath!". While Alia Bhatt wrote 'Too many feels to fit in a caption☀️'.
Karan Johar returned to the director's chair after almost four years. This film is going to be a romantic drama with extra Bollywood masala which Karan Johar brings in his films. Dharmendra Deol, Shabana Azmi, and Jaya Bachchan play important roles. The movie was announced on Ranveer Singh's Birthday and it will hit the big screens in early 2022.
