Bollywood Badshah 'Shah Rukh Khan' and Sanjay Leela Bhansali will join hands for the upcoming project Izhaar. They had last worked together in the blockbuster hit Devdas which is almost twenty years earlier. While they have created magic on the silver screen with their amazing work. However, this duo never made any collaboration till now. There was buzz that Shah Rukh Khan was the first choice of makers for Bajirao Mastani and Padmavat but the thing didn't go that way. Also, they were in the news for the other projects too.
Now there is a strong buzz in the industry that Shah Rukh Khan will be next seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s romantic directorial venture Izhaar. The director wanted to make this film with SRK around 4 years ago. However, this is going to be a romantic drama based on the real story of a man who cycled all the way to Norway to meet his loved one. Currently, Shah Rukh Khan is busy with the upcoming film Pathan, while Sanjay Leela Bhansali is working on Heera Mandi, a web series led By Sonakshi Sinha.
According to a leading daily “Izhaar was a film that Bhansali wanted to do with SRK around four years ago. It's a love story revolving around this couple - an Indian man and a Norwegian girl. It's based on the real-life story of the guy who cycled all the way to Norway for love. Bhansali wanted to adapt that into a screenplay and has reworked the script again for SRK's perusal. Now it needs to be seen if Shah Rukh green lights it this time around”. But the official confirmation has yet to come from both sides. Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s next film is Gangubai Kathiawadi featuring Alia Bhatt in the lead role.
