Nagarjuna is worried about his daughter in law, Samantha Akkineni over the
protest and the trollers who are trolling her for The Family Man 2. The actor
is allegedly angry at the protest by the audience over The Family Man 2.
Recently, the most awaited trailer of ‘The Family Man 2’ has been out and it
featured Tollywood beauty Samantha Akkineni. Samantha got brutally trolled for
hurting the sentiments of the Tamil community in the trailer.
Over this protest and the trollers, the South star Nagarjuna comes in support
of his daughter-in-law Samantha Akkineni. It seems he is very upset and super
annoyed over these premature protests. As per the sources “Nagarjuna is no
stranger to protests and attacks. But he won’t tolerate his children being
attacked. And Sam, as he affectionately calls her, is like a daughter of the
family. Nagarjuna gets very upset to see any of his children in a vulnerable
situation”. While the producer of the series asked the actress to not comment
on this issue for now.
Recently the makers also came forward and stated that “Some assumptions and
impressions have been made based on just a couple of shots in the trailer.
Many of our lead cast members, as well as key members of the creative &
writing team, are Tamilians”. They further added “We are very cognizant of the
sentiments of the Tamil people and Tamil culture and have nothing but the
utmost love and respect towards our Tamil people. We have put in years of hard
work into this show, and we have taken great pains to bring to our audiences a
sensitive, balanced, and riveting story – much like we did in Season 1 of the
show. We request everyone to wait and watch the show when it releases. We know
you’ll appreciate it once you watch it”.
The Family Man 2 is led by Manoj Bajpayee and Priyamani. Samantha Akkineni
will be playing the antagonist. The series will exclusively stream on Amazon
Prime Video on June 4, 2021.
