The Thappad actress Taapsee Pannu has recently received the Filmfare award for the best female actress for her work in Thappad. After receiving the award, the actress Taapsee Pannu thanked Kangana Ranaut. While on the other hand, Kangana Ranaut has won the national award for her performance in Panga and Manikarnika-The Queen Of Jhansi. The video clip from the Filmfare went viral in which Taapsee Pannu thanked Kangana Ranaut including the other fellow nominees.
Taapsee Pannu said, "Thank you so much Kangana for pushing the boundaries. The benchmark of your performances just keeps going higher every year". She also thanked some other actresses like Deepika Padukone, Janhvi Kapoor and Vidya Balan. However, after the video clip went viral Kangana Ranaut also gave her reply. Taking to her Twitter handle she tweeted as "Thank you @taapsee well deserved Vimal elaichi Filmfare award.... no one deserves it more than you". The fans of both actresses also gave their responses to this.

On the film front, Taapsee Pannu will be next seen in Rashmi Rocket and other films. On the other hand, Kangana Ranaut is featured in Thalaivi, Tejas and Dhakad. According to the latest sources, Kangana Ranaut's Thaialvi has slated to release in cinemas on 23 April 2021. However, the spike in the Covid Cases and lockdown in Maharashtra forced the makers to postpone the Released date of the film.
