67th National Awards: Kangana Ranaut Won Best Actress, Dhanusha And Manoj Bajpayee Shared Best Actors And Jersey Won Best Telugu film.

67th National Awards: Kangana Ranaut Won Best Actress, Dhanusha And Manoj Bajpayee Shared Best Actors And Jersey Won Best Telugu film.

The 67th national awards were announced in Delhi on Monday. The announcement
and event were supposed to be conducted in May 2020 but due to a pandemic, it
got postponed. On Monday the awards were awarded to several artists and
several departments. The national awards were generally given by the first
citizen of India that is the president of India but the 66th event was
honoured by the vice president. The several stars bagged the biggest award on
their name which includes Kangana Ranaut as the best actress, while Dhanush
and Manoj Bajpayee shared the best actor award for their respective films.

Kangana Ranaut won the best actress award for her excellent performance in the
Panga (Hindi) and Manikarnika the queen of Jhansi. While Dhanush won for Tamil
film Asuran and Manoj Bajpayee for Bhonsle. The best Hindi film award is given
to Chichhorre. While Nani’s Jersey film won best Telugu film. Vijay Sethupathi
also made his impact on the audience as he won the best supporting role award
for Super Deluxe. Best music director D.Imman for Vishwasam (Tamil) while best
director award is won by Sanjay Puran Singh Chauhan for Bahattar Hoorain
(Hindi). Kangana shared a video thanking the film cast and crew for the award.

The many regional language films also bagged awards for their excellent
contribution to Indian cinema for the year 2019 on various grounds. The other
notable awards are Best Action Direction: Avane Srimannarayana (Kannada)Best
Choreography: Maharishi Best Special Effects, Marakkar: Lion of the Arabian
Sea Special Jury Award: Oththa Seruppu Size 7. Best Lyrics: Prabha Varma for
Kolaambi (Malayalam).Best Music Direction: D. Imman for Viswasam (Tamil). The
next event will be held mid of this year.
