Kangana Ranaut opposed Shaahi Tharoor’s tweet in support of Kamal Haasan’s
view of giving the homemakers a paid salary. The actress Kangana Ranaut made a
series of tweets in reply to Shashi Tharoor’s tweet which he made on Kamal
Haasan’s idea of making homemakers a paid salary profession. Shashi Tharoor
wrote ”I welcome @ikamalhaasan’s idea of recognising housework as a salaried
profession, w/the state govt paying a monthly wage to homemakers. This will
recognise & monetise the services of women homemakers in society, enhance
their power & autonomy & create near-universal basic income”. In
a tweet, Shashi Tharoor welcomed this new idea and also said it will enhance
the power and autonomy of homemakers.
In reply to Shashi Tharoor, Kangana Ranaut opposed this with her vehement
tweet. Kangana Ranaut said don’t put the price tag on s*x which we have with
our love she further added that don’t pay for mothering and we don’t need
salary for being the queen of our own homes. Her tweet is read as ”Don’t put a
price tag on sex we have with our love, don’t pay us for mothering our own, we
don’t need salary for being the Queens of our own little kingdom our home,
stop seeing everything as a business. Surrender to your woman she needs all of

After this, Kangna Ranaut also made another tweet in a reply of one user as
she wrote ”It will be worse to reduce a homeowner to home employ, to give
price tag to mothers sacrifices and life long unwavering commitment, It’s like
you want to pay God for this creation, cause you suddenly pity him for his
efforts. It’s partially painful and partially funny.”

Kangana also gave several replies to the users who asked her about her view on
the topic which she expressed through her tweet. However, last year Kamal
Haasan proposed this to the people of Tamil Nadu if his party MNM will come
into power in the upcoming Tamil Nadu assembly election.
