Madhu Mantena set to produce a Rs 300 crore epic drama project titled Ramayana. We all know that there had been many films made based on the Epic Ramayana, but Madhu Mantena is planning to take the story to another level with a huge budget. Madhu has co-founded Phantom films that also produced 2019's Super Hit Movie 'Super 30'. There is also a report that Dangal film director Nitish Tiwari will direct this project. Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone are front runners to play Lord Ram and Goddess Sita characters in the film as per the sources.
The producer Madhu Mantena has been working on this project for a very long time. He doesn't want to leave a single stone unturned to showcase every single character of Ramayana with perfection. He is working to cover all the aspects of the epic story. The film could hit the floors soon. According to sources, Hrithik Roshan will portray Lord Ram and Deepika Padukone to play the character of Goddess Sita however there is no official confirmation about this. While the other casts for the film have not yet finalised. The film will be going to be released in 3D. The makers are planning to release this film in two parts.
According to a leading daily, "These are sensitive times. And the last thing the Ramayana needs is an underwhelming treatment or a revisionist screenplay. Mantena has deployed several researchers to project absolute accuracy and preserve complete sanctity in his film version of the venerated epic". The A-listed actors are on the list of the makers but yet to be finalized.
