Kangana Ranaut is well known for her acting skills and her presentation and appearance of her characters on the screen. Undoubtedly, she is one of the finest actresses of Bollywood. But she is always in the news for her conversational tweets. Recently she indulged in a Twitter fight with Punjab superstar Diljit Dosanjh over the ongoing farmer's protest. But her first director of film Gangster Anurag Basu said to a leading daily about Kangana Ranaut's persona as "there are two Kangana's".
On talking with Mid Day the director and filmmaker Anurag Basu opened up about queen actress Kangana Ranaut and said: "Of the 20-25 girls we auditioned for the part, her face just stuck in my head - there was something unique about her". By continuing he added that "In the beginning, she needed guidance for everything. But she is a really fast learner. I have seen her growth during the filming of Gangster itself".
Anurag Basu also talked about the persona of Kangana Ranaut and said that he usually not met with Kangana Ranaut but whenever he meets her, this is public persona is not her and he thinks there are two Kangana's. He said ”Not really. We usually don’t meet, but whenever we do, this public persona is not the Kangana I know her personally. So I think there are two Kanganas. Beech wali I don’t understand”. By saying this he concluded his statement. Kangana Ranaut and Anurag worked together in just one film Gangster in 2006 alongside Emraan Hashmi. After that, they didn't work together.
