The DJ fame Pooja Hegde is currently busy in shooting for her upcoming big
project Radhe Shyam in Italy along with the darling Prabhas. This diva is
doing great in Bollywood as well as in the Tollywood industry too. Pooja also
bagged some big-budget movies. Now there is heard that Pooja refused the
famous director’s movie Shakuntalam.
Gunasekhar is famous for his making of Rudramadevi. He is all set to make the
mythological story Titled as Shakuntalam, based on one of the parts of
Mahabharata about Dushyanta and Shakuntala’s love story. This movie is
woman-centric and Gunasekhar approached Pooja Hegde to rope for the lead role.
But Pooja said no because in some point of time in the film she has to play a
mother on screen and at the beginning of her career she doesn’t want to play
such roles. After Pooja said no this role now Gunasekhar is planning to bring
Anushka Shetty on board.

On the work front, Pooja Hegde recently worked in the blockbuster family
drama Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo opposite the Stylish Star Allu Arjun in the lead
role. Pooja’s next is Most Eligible Bachelor in Telugu featuring Akhil
Akkineni in the lead role and the movie will release in January 2021.
