Since NCB investigating into the drug case related to Sushant Singh Rajput
till now, they have arrested many peddlers and even celebrities too. Earlier
there were many big names of Bollywood popped up in the drug case including
Deepika Padukone, Sara Ali Khan, Shraddha Kapoor, Rakul Preet Singh and
others. Even NCB summoned the Managers of These stars including Deepika
Padukone’s Manager Karishma Prakash.
Karishma Prakash is named by one of the arrested peddlers. The NCB officials
on Tuesday raided the Versova house of Karishma Prakash and NCB claimed that
they have found 1.7 grams of Charas and two bottles of Cannabis oil. She was
earlier questioned by NCB officials during the case of Sushant Singh Rajput.
The NCB said in their statements as “Prakash’s name cropped up during the
questioning of one of the peddlers arrested by us in the case in which we are
looking to bust drug networks around Bollywood, Based on the information, we
raided her residence today. We found 1.7 grams of charas and at least two
bottles of CBD oil”.
The NCB furthermore said when they raided the house. At the time of the raid,
Karishma Prakash was not at home. They raided under her family members
presences. NCB also said they have called Karishma for questioning tomorrow
but her phone has been switched off and they don’t know where Karishma is.
Earlier, NCB recorded the statements of Karishma and Deepika Padukone in which
Deepika told that the WhatsApp discussion was about cigarettes, not drugs.
