Shankar Shanmugam is credited as S.Shankar in the film industry, 57-year-old
Shankar is one of the famous filmmakers of the Indian movies especially Tamil
movies. He made his directing debut with Gentleman in 1993. Shankar also won
Filmfare best director award and most of the films of Shankar are based on
social issues and vigilante themes.
Shankar’s some of the well-known directorial ventures are Nayak, Shivaji The
Boss, Indian, I movie, and Robot 2.0, But now Veteran Director is working on
the sequel of his classical blockbuster Bharateeyudu and it is known that
Kamal Hassan will lead this movie.
Now according to some sources, Shankar’s debut movie Gentleman will have a
sequel which is officially confirmed by the producer Kunjumon, but there is no
confirmation from him that who is going to be working on this sequel.
However, Shankar gave several commercially hit movies through his great work
and vision. While his last directorial venture was Robot 2.0, which performed
very well on the box office. And his upcoming movie is Indian 2, which will be
going to lead by Kamal Haasan, Siddharth, Kajal Aggarwal and Rakul Preet Singh
this is going to be a sequel to 1996 thriller Indian movie.
