The Padmavat actress Deepika Padukone who reached Mumbai on Thursday from Goa
to appeared NCB official on Friday to summon on the Drug case probe, Deepika
is currently shooting for her upcoming Shakun Batra’s film with Ananya Panday
and Siddhant Chaturvedi at Goa, while hubby Ranveer Singh was looking after
her. According to latest updates, Ranveer Singh formally asked NCB either he
can join the probe along with wife Deepika or not.
Ranveer Singh writes an application to the NCB regarding the permission to
join probe with Deepika in which he said: “Deepika Padukone sometimes suffers
from anxiety and gets panic attacks and hence he should be granted permission
to be with her”. Further, he said he is a law-abiding citizen and he knows
that it against law to present with Deepika during the questioning and the
last added that it is understood to have requested to allow him with her.
In response to Ranveer’s application to joining the probe is held and there is
no decision taken by the NCB. However, Deepika to join the questioning on
Friday while Shraddha Kapoor and Sara Ali Khan will appear before the NCB on
Saturday, and on the other hand designer Simone Khambatta and Shruti Modi,
SSR’s former manager grilled by NCB.
