The Saki Saki Actress Koena Mitra Slams Bollywood for the Nepotism Culture, Said There are Many Sushant’s in the Industry.

The Chhichhore actor, Sushant Singh Rajput bid adieu to the world at the age of 34 by committing suicide at his Bandra residence on Sunday. Sushant’s such an extreme step to commit suicide has left the entire film fraternity in shock. With this, the nepotism culture has yet again become the talk of the industry.

From Kangana Ranaut questioning to why the actor's achievements were never recognised to netizens slamming Alia Bhatt and Karan Johar for mocking him on Koffee With Karan, social media has indeed become a space full of debates at present.

Saying that, Koena Mitra also joined the line and slammed Bollywood for not recognising the real talent. In a recent interview, the Big Boss 13 contestant said that “Sushant was such a bright person, good looking actor and he succeeded with good films. Despite that I read a statement that he was treated like an outsider, not invited to the celeb parties and weddings. A lot of people have experienced this, he is not the first one. The film industry will not treat you like family till the time your family doesn’t belong to this industry. It's pretty sad. He's not the first one and there are many such Sushant’s in our industry.”

Speaking about filmmaker Karan Johar, the actress further added, “Karan Johar does not have the license of this industry. It is shown as if he accepts or rejects something then it is the ultimate thing. But no, the industry is an ocean and we are all tiny little drops in it. And, he is also a drop in it. No one can decide who should be accepted or rejected.”

Koena Mitra has been the lead for several movies like Musafir, Apna Sapna Money Money, Ek Khiladi Ek Haseena etc. However recently she made another presence on screen with participating in Big Boss 13.
