A check that the beauty contest is not just about beautiful body but a beautiful soul. The former Miss World Manushi Chhillar happens to be this for a reason. Besides winning the contest, she also pledged to do as good as she can to the society.

To this, Miss World has initiated to enhance the childhood of the kids who are suffering and resistant to the care they deserve. She has made a recent update on Instagram with her childhood picture. The picture is not just to flaunt her good old days, but it has a purpose. Firstly she quotes about the hard time for children that is yet unseen. “I have been blessed and fortunate enough to have had a safe, healthy and happy childhood. Today I realise the importance of my upbringing that has impacted and shaped my value system, my perspective towards the world and people, and has also made me the person that I am today. Thus, it’s deeply disturbing to know how many children in my country don’t get the childhood that they deserve. The current pandemic is only increasing the threat for them when they are at such an impressionable age.”
