Rishi Kapoor and Amitabh Bachchan- The famous duo who have done countless movies and brought us countless memories. They starred together in Amar Akbar Anthony and continued with several super hits like Naseeb, Kabhi Kabhie, Coolie, etc. From being happening at their 30’s to nailing the roles at 60s in movies like “102 Not Out” Rishi sir and Amitabh sir share a special bond.
Amitabh Bachchan recently shared a post depicting the energy and enthusiasm of Rishi Kapoor even at an old age. His caption “No one but no one could lip-sync a song as perfectly as Rishi Kapoor .. just look at the passion in his expression .. !! Even at this age and at an event the genuineness .. simply unbeatable.” beautifully coordinates with the picture where Rishi sir is seen drooling in the song.
Rishi Kapoor had recently died out of Leukemia on April 30th, 2020. It was indeed one of the greatest losses to the Bollywood Industry and he would be missed forever. Amitabh Bachchan also confessed why he did not visit Rishi sir in the hospital. “I never wanted to see the distress on his smiling cherubic face,” and he also stated in his post, “But I am certain, when he went, he must have gone with a gentle smile.” Surely Big B had always fallen for the gentleness and smile of late Rishi sir.
