Varun Dhawan again comes forward in this difficult times, will provide free meals to the brave warriors of this Corona Battle

In these low times, it’s good to see how the entertainment industry has come in together to help the country. The Coronavirus outbreak has brought the entire world to its knees with governments and hospital staffs doing all that it takes to keep their countries protected.

"Dilwale" hero Varun Dhawan has also come forward to help the country in this hour of crisis. Varun Dhawan on Wednesday(April 8th) announced on his social media account that he will be providing meals for the doctors and medical staff working at hospitals amid the coronavirus crisis. The actor will also be providing meals for the poor who don't have a home or a job.

Sharing this news of noble work he Wrote "This is a long battle and we have to fight it together. Finding solutions is the only way foward. @ratantata #tatatrust". He added "With each passing day of being locked down at home, my heart goes out to all those who have no home in this time of crisis. And so this week I've committed to provide meals for the poor who are without homes or jobs. I also have deep admiration for all those who are risking their lives by working on the frontlines. I've committed to provide meals to doctors and medical staff at hospitals. All meals are provided through the Taj Public Service Welfare Trust. It's a small step. But during a crisis like this, we have to make every step count. I will continue to do what best I can."

Previously, On March 28, the actor had pledged to contribute Rs 30 lakh to PM Narendra Modi's PM-CARES Fund and Rs 25 lakh to the Maharashtra CM's Relief Fund.

On the work front, Varun will be next seen in 'Coolie No 1' with Sara Ali Khan. Produced by Jackky and Vashu Bhagnani with Dhawan Sr. This is the official new version of Govinda and Karisma Kapoor’s 1995 hit film by the same name. It is doubtful about the date of release due to this pandemic caused lockdown.
